Welcome!

Everyone is welcome at Browns Point UMC.  Everyone’s participation in the life of the community is important. We hope that you will find here a warm and welcoming community and a genuine encounter with our passionate and loving God.  We welcome all those who are seeking, asking questions, and trying to grow spiritually – you don’t need to have all the answers to be a part of the community here!

Our regular Sunday worship services are at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is welcome at either service.  Both services are similar in style and content, but at 8:30 there is weekly communion (Eucharist) while it is only on the first Sunday of the month at 10:00; and the 10:00 service includes a weekly children’s moment.  After the children’s moment, Sunday School is provided for children age 4 to 8th grade.

Children are an important part of our community, and we welcome children’s participation in all parts of church life!  If families are more comfortable leaving little ones in childcare, we have an excellent nursery during all worship services for children up to age 5.

We encourage you to participate fully in the life of the church, engaging in worship, small groups, fellowship, service, and other activities.  For news and announcements, check out the News page.
