Ministry - Caring for One Another

Ministries enable the church to function through activities such as worship, administration, programming, maintenance, and teaching.

Ministries offer and encourage spiritual growth, moral guidance, witness, service activity, social gathering and more. It is a dynamic part of church life in which the pastor and congregation both minister AND are ministered to... in Christ!

Some of the ministries at BPUMC are:

Music

Children and Youth

Small Groups

Missions

No matter where you are or what season of life you are in, there is a way you can give help and hope to others.

Service is one of our values and guiding principles. It is intrinsic to our congregation. Yet, serving is so much more than giving. It's about connection, compassion, love, receiving, getting out of our 'box' and seeing how we can expand and enrich our lives and others.

We encourage you to be inspired, find your heart's passion, and be involved in mission and/or service. Even taking small steps to volunteer can lift your spirits and have you know that you can make a difference in the world.

  • BPUmC Food bank

Our food bank is an opportunity for volunteers, donors, and community work together to provide nutritious food to anyone who needs it.  For questions or more information, please contact Tina Anton at anton524@comcast.net.

  • our church

You don't have to go on a far away "mission trip" to do mission and outreach. You don't even need to go to a different state, county or part of your city. You can look at the community around you and find ways to connect and show your appreciation

  • our conference

Together, through our connected United Methodist congregations worldwide, we accomplish what no single church ever could hope to do alone. In this way, each individual, each family, each congregation gives a fair share for the church's work. We combine our prayers, presence, gifts and service to make a significant difference in the lives of God's people.
