Holy Week

Holy Week commemorates the last week of Jesus' earthly life. It begins with Palm Sunday and concludes with Holy Saturday. We have three services we celebrate during Holy Week.

  • March 24th:  Palm-Passion Sunday with Choral Cantata "What Love is This" 10:00 a.m.
  • March 25th-30th Outdoor stations of the Cross. They are self-guided.
  • March 29th: Good Friday Service at 6:30 p.m. featuring the choir.

Holy Week Schedule

  • Palm Sunday

    Sunday April 14 at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

The choir will perform the Palm-Passion Cantata, Come Follow Me. This choral concert will describe Jesus last week starting with his triumphal entry into Jerusalem to his solemn death on the cross.

  • Good Friday- the Rejection of THe Great I am

Join us for worship on Friday April 19 at 7:00 p.m. as we remember the day Jesus was crucified on the cross. During Lent we learned about the seven I am statements of Jesus. For our Good Friday service, we will explore how Jesus' arrest, betrayal, trial, crucifixion and death are the ultimate rejections of who he said he was. We will sing hymns, pray, and hear the story once more. We will contemplate how we reject God's love in our lives, and how we reject ourselves and others as well. We will also be blessed by the choir and brass soloist.
